The announcement of Simon's induction will be made during the NCAA Final Four, which will take place this weekend.
A businessman specializing in real estate development, Simon has been in ownership of the Pacers since 1983, which makes him the longest-active owner among current NBA teams.
Simon bought the Pacers together with his brother, Mel Simon, who sadly passed away in 2009.
