Suns' Kevin Durant expected to miss 2-3 weeks with sprained ankle
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant is expected to misstwo-to-three weeks as he recovers from a sprained left ankle,according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Durant hurt his ankle during pregame warm-ups prior toWednesday's Suns-Thunder game, when he slipped while going up for alay-up.
Last night, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reported that Durant was wearinga boot after the game.
Durant has appeared in three games with the Suns since the teamacquired him in a blockbuster trade with the Brooklyn Nets, and hehas averaged 26.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 threes and1.3 blocks while shooting 69.0% from the field, 53.8% fromthree-point range and 88.2% from the free-throw line.
The Suns have yet to lose a game with Durant in theirlineup.
Phoenix is currently 37-29, which is the fourth-best record inthe Western Conference.
