Grizzlies' Dillon Brooks fined $35,000 for shoving camera person

Memphis Grizzlies wingDillon Brooks has been fined $35,000 for the unsportsmanlike act ofshoving a camera person on the sideline after pursuing a looseball, it was announced today by NBA executive vice president andhead of basketball operations Joe Dumars.

Brooks’ actionsoccurred with 2:40 remaining in the second quarter of theGrizzlies’ 138-119 loss to the Miami Heat on March 15 at Miami-DadeArena. You can watch the incident below:

This season, Brooks isaveraging 14.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.9 threes,while shooting 38.7% from the field, 31.3% from three-point rangeand 78.6% from the free-throw line.

The Grizzlies arecurrently 41-27, which is the third-best record in the WesternConference.

Recently, Memphis hasbeen without superstar point guard Ja Morant, who was suspended by the NBA for eightgames for "conduct detrimental to the league."
