According to Dave McMenamin from ESPN, there's high optimism Davis will return on Tuesday for the Los Angeles Lakers match against the Golden State Warriors.

Davis was hit near his left eye, which had previously required treatment. He had to leave the game at the start of the second quarter. Davis did not return in the second half.

The 31-year-old center has been averaging 24.5 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game this season. He was named to his 9th All-Star Game this season.

With 45 wins and 34 losses, the Lakers are currently 9th in the Western Conference. With the Rockets getting eliminated, all 20 play-in/playoff teams are already known, with a week remaining until the end of the NBA regular season.
