Weeks before the end of the Spanish Liga Endesa's (ACB) regular season, Joventut Badalona made a tough move.

The Spanish club has parted with head coach Carles Duran after five years of mutual partnership, the organization officially announced.

The contract was initially signed to last until the end of the 2024-25 season.

With Duran under the helm, Joventut became a consistent powerhouse in the EuroCup, reaching the quarterfinal stage twice and the semifinal stage once in the last four seasons.

With 14 wins and 14 losses, Joventut are currently in 10th place in the ACB standings. With six games remaining, Joventut are two games behind the 8th-placed BAXI Manresa.

It is currently unclear who will take over the club after Duran's departure.
