This multi-year deal will be fully guaranteed, solidifying Grigonis as an important piece of the team moving forward.

The initial report was made by Rokas Pakenas of 15min.

This extension sets Grigonis on course to become the Lithuanian player with the longest tenure in the history of the club, surpassing Sarunas Jasikevicius, who previously held that distinction with stints in 2007-10 and 2012-13.

The 29-year-old guard is in his second season with Panathinaikos, averaging 10.1 points (58.4% 2PT, 43.7% 3PT, 89.6% FT), 3.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 9.8 PIR over 33 EuroLeague games (32 starts) this campaign.

Grigonis' contributions have been instrumental in Panathinaikos' (22-11) strong showing. With just one regular-season game remaining, they are currently sitting in second place in the EuroLeague standings.
