According to Marc Stein, because of the 65-game rule for being eligible for awards, ballots will be ready after the end of the regular season, i.e. April 14.
Therefore, voting will take place on April 16-19 once all the ballots have been made ready following the classification of all eligible players.
Normally, the ballots used to be ready on the day after the regular season, but the 65-game has made it so that the ballots cannot be made ready until April 14.
The affected awards include:
Most Valuable Player Award, Defensive Player of the Year Award, Most Improved Player Award, All-NBA Team Awards, All-Defensive Team Awards. Subscribe to BN+ and get access to exclusive content.Link to this article:https://www.brazilv.com/post/3189.html
