Another team just played spoilerto a player’s season-best scoring output.

Just a week after the CharlotteHornets crashed the Minnesota Timberwolves' party and ruinedKarl-Anthony Towns' career-best 62-point outing, the Indiana Pacersspoiled Devin Booker’s season-high 62 points, escaping with a129-127 win over the Phoenix Suns at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Friday night.

Booker, who had 29 points in thefirst quarter, was brilliant all night long — shooting 22-of-37from the field, 6-of-12 from three and 12-of-13 from the free-throwline to finish with 62 on the night.

The 6-foot-6 guard has beentearing it up over his last five games, including 52 points againstthe New Orleans Pelicans and 46 against the Dallas Mavericks. However, he missed a three-point attempt at the buzzer that couldhave won the game after stumbling on the court on the inboundspass.

Indiana was led by PascalSiakam's 31 points, and Obi Toppin's 23. Toppin was the hero in thedying seconds of the game, grabbing an offensive rebound andputback basket to put the Pacers up for good.

This was Siakam’s second winwith the Pacers despite playing without All-Star starter TyreseHaliburton, who missed his second consecutive game due to ahamstring injury.
