NBA is the highest-scoring league in the world, averaging 113.1 points per 48 minutes, led by the Indiana Pacers (123.3), followed by the German Basketball League (BBL) with 102.5 points per 48 minutes, and the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) with 101.5.

NBA is the highest-scoring basketball league in the world, based on points scored per 48 minutes -- the duration of an NBA game, according to 3StepsBasket data.

For instance, if a team scores 100 points in 40 minutes, its 48-minute score would be 120 points.

The NBA leads with an average of 113.1 points per 48 minutes. This past regular season, the Indiana Pacers topped the charts with 123.3 points per game, followed by the Boston Celtics at 120.6 and the Oklahoma City Thunder at 120.1 points per game.

The German Basketball League (BBL) ranks second with an average of 102.5 points per 48 minutes. Ratiopharm Ulm led the BBL, scoring 90.5 points per game in their 40-minute contests.

In third place is the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL), averaging 101.5 points per 48 minutes. The EuroCup follows closely with an average of 100.3 points per 48 minutes.

The EuroLeague averages 97.1 points per 48 minutes, with Real Madrid scoring 89.0 points per game this season.
