With this win Crvena Zvezda guaranteed themselves a spot in the next year's EuroLeague.
"I'm sure that Partizan will play in the Euroleague," Mozzart Sport quoted Obradovic after Game 3. "I'm convinced of that. Partizan did everything, and the people from the EuroLeague recognized it. I hope they will make that decision."
"It wasn't a question of whether someone would win or lose, but because of everything that Partizan represents in European basketball deserves to be a part of the EuroLeague. I hope that they will decide that way, and we will try to do everything to be a member of the EuroLeague," Obradovic added.
Obradovic also believes Partizan deserve to be in next season's EuroLeague because of the unique atmosphere in the Stark Arena over the last two seasons alone.
"This club deserves it for 1,000 reasons, tradition and everything it has given to European basketball, and at this moment how our games look and how much they are talked about. We will see that we all prepare together and be better in all the competitions we will play," Obradovic concluded.
Recently, Obradovic signed a 2-year contract extension with Partizan that will keep him in the club until the end of the 2025-26 season.
