Being two veterans of the NBA, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors have occasionally spoken with praise about each other.

In the Mind the Game podcast with J.J. Redick, James continued the trend, explaining how difficult it is to guard Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

"The ball is not the problem with Steph Curry. He's the f*cking problem," James said after revealing that they did video analysis on an open three they gave to Curry in a recent 120-134 loss. "Steph is the most dangerous when he doesn't have the ball."

There's not many guys, all time, in our league that is the most dangerous without the ball," James said.

"I'm telling them [rest of the Lakers], 'Listen, guys, I've been in more than enough wars with those guys.' I understand it, coming from a different point of view," James stated about his familiarity with Curry's and GSW's game.

"But when Steph decides to cut inside the lane, don't relax. He's coming back up. You have to have reps, reps, reps, and reps of actually guarding something that's uncomfortable," he continued. "Guarding Steph is uncomfortable."

In the midst of all the praise, James then used this opportunity to criticize newer players of the league and to explain how the GSW is still in vogue even after all these years.

"And the problem with our guys, with our league, they are not comfortable with being uncomfortable," James explained. "That's why Steph and the Golden State will always be relevant because they play an uncomfortable style of play."

In the conclusion, Redick asked James if he himself hates such a style of play.

"I hate it when you don't have the personnel to match," he said with laughter.

For the most recent match-up between the Lakers and the GSW, Curry had 23 points (6/6 3FG), 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks. On the other hand, James had 33 points (14/22 FG), 7 rebounds, 11 assists, and 2 steals.
