Paris' journey to glory has been nothing short of exceptional. In only its second year in the EuroCup, the club demonstrated near-perfection with a 22-1 season record. The only blemish came in a loss to Besiktas Istanbul during Round 8.
Paris dominated with a stellar 17-1 record during the regular season. They continued their winning streak into the playoffs, defeating Joventut Badalona in the quarterfinals and then sweeping the London Lions 2-0 in the semifinals.
This winning momentum carried through to the finals, where they again swept their opponents, Bourg.
Once again, EuroCup regular-season MVP TJ Shorts proved his mettle as the go-to player for Paris, delivering 22 points (4/8 2PT, 1/3 3PT, 11/13 FT), 5 rebounds, 6 assists, and 28 PIR.
In Game 1, he set the tone with a game-high 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists. His consistent excellence throughout the series earned him the 2024 EuroCup Finals MVP.
Shorts added a second successive European trophy to his collection.
Last season, Shorts -- and several of his Paris teammates, as well as head coach Tuomas Iisalo -- helped lead Telekom Baskets Bonn to the 2022-23 FIBA Basketball Champions League title, with the point guard earning MVP and Final Four MVP honors.
