The play-in duel between Maccabi and Baskonia in the Aleksandar Nikolic Hall, where the Israeli side plays hosts for the whole season, is scheduled for Tuesday at 19:00. Maccabi were supposed to fly to Belgrade on Sunday morning before the most important duel of the season, but Iran's attack on Israel changed everything.

Iran launched drones and rockets towards Israel, and Maccabi players who returned to the country to play a domestic championship match against Hapoel Holon had to stay in Tel Aviv.

The Israeli authorities have since opened the country's airspace, which was closed due to the threat of an attack.

Maccabi's flight was initially postponed to Sunday evening. However, another change was made in the middle of the day. Now, the Israeli club will leave Monday morning, according to Or Shkedy from Walla Sport.

"According to the instructions of the security services, the airspace of the State of Israel was opened at 07:30 in the morning local time, and the Ben Gurion Airport resumed operations," the information from the Israel Airports Authority said.
