According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Jordan Ott, who is currently an assistant coach in the Los Angeles Lakers, and Jerry Stackhouse, NBA G-League's Raptors 905 coach, have joined the list of interviewees.
Previously, the Hornets had received permission to interview names such asDavid Adelman (Denver Nuggets), Jordi Fernandez (Sacramento Kings), Charles Lee (Boston Celtics), Kevin Young (Phoenix Suns), Jay Larranaga (Los Angeles Clippers), and Lindsey Harding (Stockton Kings) for the job.
As for the new names, Ott used to be an assistant for the Brooklyn Nets before moving to the Lakers in 2022 under Darvin Ham.
Jerry Stackhouse, on the other hand, is a former two-time NBA All-Star who also coached in the NCAA (Vanderbilt Commodores). He also won the D-League in 2017 (the former name of the G-League) with the Raptors 905 and received the Coach of the Year award in 2017.
