"I hope I get it, yes. I think all the guys are deserving and have a good case. Whatever happens, happens. Whoever gets it is deserving for sure," he said.
Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 30.3 points, 6.2 assists, and 5.6 rebounds while shooting 53.6% from the field and 35.8% from downtown. He has been instrumental for the Thunder this season with his play on both ends of the floor.

Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault believes Gilgeous-Alexander is a huge part of the team's success so far.
"There is not a night where I don't feel like we have the best player on the floor. We're a top-five defense, top-five offense. He's a two-end player that contributes to both of those things," he said.
The Thunder clinched the No. 1 seed in the West—becoming the youngest team to do so—with a 57-25 record in the regular season.
