Before joining the Suns, Allen had spent two years with the Milwaukee Bucks. After coming to Phoenix, Allen has registered the best scoring numbers in his career, averaging 13.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3 assists per game in 33.5 minutes of playing time - all four career-bests.

Allen previously earned $8.5 million per season. Now, his average salary will jump to $17.5 million, more than doubling his previous pay.

The Suns, meanwhile, finished the regular season in 6th place and will play against the Minnesota Timberwolves in the First Round of the NBA Playoffs.
