The previous record belonged to LeBron James, who led the NBA in total minutes during the 2017-18 season while being 33 years old. DeRozan has done it while being 34.
Before James, the record belonged to Allen Iverson, who was 32 years and 314 days of age when he led the league in total minutes in 2007-08.
