Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is expected to miss"multiple weeks" reports Shams Charania of TheAthletic after suffereing a right foot injury in Sunday's winagainst the Dallas Mavericks.

Sources: There's fear Lakers star LeBronJames is likely to miss an extended period of time with his rightfoot injury. James suffered the injury in Sunday's win over Dallas,played through it, and belief is he will be sidelined an indefiniteamount.

James will likely get multiple opinions regarding the injury butthe team is bracing for him to miss an extended period of time.

The Lakers star suffered the injury during the third quarter oftheir 111-108 comeback win over the Mavericks. Despite the injury,James played through it and finished the game with his teamfighting to get into the Play-In Tournament. The Lakers are now29-32 and sit in the 12th spot in the Western Conference.

L.A. has gone 4-1 since the trade deadline where it remadenearly half its roster, bringing in D'Angelo Russell, MalikBeasley, Jarred Vanderbilt, Rui Hachimura and Mo Bamba. But losingJames – who is averaging 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assiststhis season – will severely hurt their chances of making thepost-season.
