This season has been one of the most healthy for Kevin Durant, the veteran superstar of the Phoenix Suns. With the Suns, Durant played a total of 75 regular season games this year.

Durant believes this healthy season was made possible because he avoided floppers, i.e. those who exaggerate contact to get foul calls from the referees.

"No players flopped into my legs this year. Last two years, I had my teammate flop into me and an opponent flop into me two straight years that caused me to get MCL injuries," Durant said to The Arizona Republic.

"If it wasn't for that, I probably would've been out there the same amount of games, but I'm glad nobody flopped into me. Had a couple of nagging injuries, but it was day-to-day type of stuff. I'm grateful for that."

Durant seemed like he had a couple of names in mind and stated that he just tries to avoid such players when trying to stem injury problems.

"Just stay away from the crash dummies, you know. The dudes who try to sell calls and don't mind hurting people by diving on the floor trying to sell a call," Durant stated. "I know who those guys are, and I try to stay away from them," he noted, though he did not provide any names.

"Like I said, staying clear of way of the floppers this year," Durant reiterated his secret to a healthy season.

After finishing the Western Conference in 6th place, the Suns have matched up with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the first round of the playoffs.

Durant contributed to his team's season with regular season averages of 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.
