The Dallas Mavericks are back in the NBA playoffs after securing the 5th seed in the West.

Their star duo, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving, has been amazing, but another reason for the Mavericks' success this year has been the support they've been getting from their home crowd.

The franchise has sold out every home game this season, which is why Doncic knows their fans will play a vital role moving forward, especially during the playoffs.

“They are our sixth man. They help us a lot. Even when we're down, I remember some games they stayed," Doncic told reporters. "It's amazing. I expect a great atmosphere in the playoffs. They have been amazing since my first year.”

Dallas head coach Jason Kidd shared the same sentiments, saying they have the "best fans in the league."

"They come out every night," added Kidd. "To be able to have that support is going to be big, not just in the regular season, but going forward. We're going to need that this series."

The Mavericks will face the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the playoffs.
