Parker joined Barca last summer on a one-year deal, but after fruitful negotiations, he's set to stay for two more seasons.

"I am very grateful. From the first moment I came to Barcelona, I had good feelings, good games, and good experiences," Parker said. "I just want to keep these good times with more years here in Barcelona.

"It was very easy to make this decision," the 29-year-old added. "I would make this decision 10 times over if I had the chance. I think it's the best decision."

Parker's contributions to Barcelona have been evident, with solid stats in both the EuroLeague (10.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 9.3 PIR in 33 games) and the ACB League (11.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 10.6 PIR in 28 games).

"My goal for the next two seasons is to give 100%, give all my dedication to the court, and give back everything I can to the fans," Parker declared.

With a professional career filled with ups and downs, Parker has proven his worth in the NBA despite the injuries that have affected his performance in recent years. Born in Chicago, Illinois, Parker rose to fame as a star at Duke University, where he left an impressive mark as one of college basketball's most outstanding players.

Selected second overall in the 2014 NBA draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, Parker dazzled with his offensive prowess. In the 2016-17 season, he averaged 20.1 points per game.

However, injuries stalled his progress, leading him to seek opportunities with various teams -- Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, Atlanta Hawks, Sacramento Kings, and Boston Celtics -- though without much success.
