Slovenians interrupted Doncic's press conference: "I'm speechless" / News - Basketnews.com
Luka Doncic fell to the ground, and few Slovenian National team players quickly came to help their leader. He was lying on the court of Zalgirio Arena, helpless. Luka gave all his heart to Slovenia, scoring 31 points, grabbing 11 rebounds, and assisting 13 times, but most importantly, leading his team to Tokyo Olympics.

"I’m speechless. We worked hard for this. We didn’t have much time. But we did it. We have an amazing team. The chemistry is incredible, and everybody plays their heart out," Doncic holds his breath.
When a Polish journalist was about to ask a question, suddenly, all other players from the Slovenia National Team interrupted the press conference.
They were jumping all over the place, splashing water, and celebrating together with their coach and their leader.
"So now you know what kind of chemistry we have," coach Sekulic smiled.
"The chemistry is incredible. We're hanging out everywhere as a team. On the court, off the court... We have great players. It's an unbelievable team," Doncic added.
It was all about the team in the Slovenia camp. They were not only celebrating together but also fighting together through challenging moments when Lithuania was ready to break them down with their Twin Towers Jonas Valanciunas and Domantas Sabonis.
"It was an amazing game in a fantastic atmosphere. The arena was full. We knew it’s going to be like this. We know how to play games like this," coach Sekulic said. "I’m proud of these guys. They've just played amazing. They played together, and they fought together. They got through tough times together. We have Luka on a team, and everything looks easier. He’s making players good and better than they are. Also me, myself."
"Every kid in Slovenia dreams about being in Olympics. I did too. And here we are. We fought really hard, and we deserved to be here," Doncic said.
Luka Doncic is writing history for his country. The next chapter begins on July 23 in Tokyo.
"We can go from there. Our goal was to be in the Olympics. And we can go from there."
