Adam Hanga is one of three players that switched sides at the top of the Spanish elite, with Thomas Heurtel and Nicolas Laprovittola being the other two.

The 32-year-old Hungarian forward left FC Barcelona and joined Real Madrid. Hanga was interviewed by DAZN and compared his feelings toward playing for Sarunas Jasikevicius and Pablo Laso.

According to the swingman, Laso's system is more talent-oriented: "All coaches are different. Pablo Laso leaves you more freedom on the court. Jasikevicius is more strict, you have to know your role. With Laso, you can use your talent a little more, which is something I'm enjoying more."

Hanga also mentioned not feeling like his offensive potential was being used during his time in the Catalan capital. However, things have turned around for him in Madrid.

"I have to get used to it because sometimes I think I have forgotten the talent part. I was worried about the defense, about squeezing, but on offense, I was not using the talent I had."

He also touched on the differences in practice regimes - Real practices in the mornings, allowing for more time with family afterward.

"Real Madrid is super organized. We are training in the mornings, which for me is very good because that way I can enjoy the family in the afternoons. I am enjoying every day. I am learning from the players, from the coaches."

The Royal club will face Barcelona on their home turf for the first time this season on December 10. Hanga talked about what he thinks his reception by the Catalan fans will be once he steps foot on the Palau Blaugrana with a white and gold jersey.

"I don't know how they will receive me at Palau. I haven't done anything wrong. During the years I played for Barcelona, I tried to do my best and be the greatest professional possible. In the end, I made the decision to sign for Real Madrid, but when they fired me from Barca, it was my decision to be able to sign for any team."

Lastly, Hanga discussed a previous possibility to sign with an NBA club. However, according to him, that ship has sailed.

"I was very close to (signing with) the San Antonio Spurs. I did not renew with Baskonia because my goal was to play in the NBA. In the end, what happened happened, and I couldn't play there. In July of that year, I was without a team, and Barcelona signed me. Even so, I can't complain about my race, it's been a pretty good one."
