All four games of the eagerly anticipated season-ending tournament will be played on the ASB GlassFloor, which, since its official introduction in July 2023, has been hailed as the most forward-looking innovation in basketball infrastructure.
This cutting-edge flooring system was rigorously tested by the FIBA Equipment and Venue Centre prior to being launched at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup in Spain.
It was consequently used at the German BBL season opener between FC Bayern Munich and Mitteldeutscher in September 2023 and during the Celebrity Game and Saturday contests at the NBA All-Star weekend last February.
The ASB GlassFloor is the latest example of how the BCL has continuously pushed the envelope in the European basketball landscape ever since its birth in 2016, while it is also in complete alignment with FIBA's strategic priority to 'Enlarge the FIBA Family' by endorsing and encouraging innovation in basketball.
The state-of-the-art surface revolutionizes game experience as it allows for interactive applications and features the ability to add player tracking, making it possible to display live stats and achievements on the floor, as part of a package that enhances fans' interaction and engagement.
While the ASB GlassFloor is an unprecedented treat for spectators in the arena and for TV audiences, the players who have tried it became instantly its most enthusiastic adopters.
In their testimonials, some of which are collected here, the players at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup highlighted that the ASB GlassFloor provided a grip identical to that of a hardwood floor while minimizing the noise.
Tickets for the Final Four in Belgrade are already on sale, and fans can purchase them online on the official website at DDTickets.rs.
