Rivers began the season with Givova Scafati Basket. In the Italian League (LBA), Rivers averaged 10.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game in 27 appearances.
Last season, the 2.03-meter tall forward played for Onvo Buyukcekmece Basketball in the Turkish League (BSL), averaging 11.6 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
