Anthony Davis, Joel Embiid named NBA's Players of the Month

Los Angeles Lakers big man Anthony Davis and Philadelphia 76erscenter Joel Embiid have been named the NBA's Western and EasternConference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played inMarch and April.

Davis led the Lakers to a 14-6 record, while averaging 26.2points, 12.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.

Embiid led the Sixers to a 15-7 record, while averaging 33.3points, 9.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game and strengthening hiscase for the NBA's Most Valuable Player award.

Other nominees for this award from the Western Conference wereDevin Booker (PHX), Stephen Curry (GSW), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander(OKC), Brandon Ingram (NOP), Jaren Jackson Jr. (MEM) and DomantasSabonis (SAC).
