Having been sidelined since February 14th, Wood underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in March.
After playing in Dallas last year, the big man averaged 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds on 46.6% shooting in 50 games for the Lakers this season.
Wood's best season came in 2020-21 with the Houston Rockets, when he averaged 21 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Two years later, he signed with the Dallas Mavericks but left the club just one season later.
The Lakers lost Game 1 to the Nuggets, 114-103. The second game of the series is scheduled for Monday, April 22nd, at 10 PM EST. Game 3 is scheduled for Thursday, April 25th, at 10 PM EST.
