The NBA has announced the finalists for the individual performance awards for this season.

The NBA today announced the three finalists for each of the seven awards for the top performers of the 2023-24 season.

The seven awards are NBA Clutch Player of the Year, NBA Defensive Player of the Year, NBA Most Improved Player, NBA Most Valuable Player, NBA Rookie of the Year, NBA Sixth Man of the Year, and NBA Coach of the Year.

As expected the top three players in the MVP race are Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic, Oklahoma City Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Denver Nuggets' Nikola Jokic.

Doncic is averaging 33.9 points (49% FG rebounds, and 9.8 assists for the Mavs, while Gilgeous-Alexander is putting up 30.1 points (54% FG), 5.5 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game for the Thunder. Jokic, a two-time MVP, averaged 26.4 points (58% FG), 12.4 rebounds, and 9.0 assists in the regular season.

Sixth Man of the Year

Malik Monk, Sacramento Kings Bobby Portis, Milwaukee Bucks Naz Reid, Minnesota Timberwolves

Clutch Player of the Year

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors DeMar DeRozan, Chicago Bulls Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City Thunder

Coach of the Year

Mark Daigneault, Oklahoma City Thunder Chris Finch, Minnesota Timberwolves Jamahl Mosley, Orlando Magic

The winner for each award will be revealed by TNT during its coverage of the NBA Playoffs.
