After the game, he was asked about the future.
"I guess we're going to have to wait until that happens, but if it's up to me, I don't see myself [in any other club] when it comes to overseas standpoint if I'm staying out here [for] another year," he declared. "If I have [the] opportunity to go back to the NBA, then I'll probably go back to the NBA. If it's not the NBA, I don't want to play for no other club than PAOK."
"I feel like they welcomed me and gave me the chance that a lot of people looked over. I'm very grateful. It's a family here, it's very family-oriented. That's what I needed to get out of the shell I was in, so I can't see myself playing for any club overseas besides PAOK," Porter Jr. said.
Porter is averaging 20.75 points, 8.25 rebounds, 6.5 assists, and 3 steals per game in his first four games in Greece. The guard did not receive an opportunity in the NBA following a domestic violence case against him. Porter Jr. signed with PAOK in early April.
