Hartenstein and his team won a hard-fought Game 4 over the Philadelphia 76ers with a score of 92-97 in Philadelphia to go up 3-1 in the first round of the playoffs. Throughout the game, Knicks fans were in the stands to support their away team.

"The fans are special. It's probably the closest you'll ever get to European fans," Hartenstein said. "They travel."

"When we are at the [Madison Square] Garden, it's always special. Doesn't matter if it's the playoffs or the regular season. Now, having them on the road, especially in a playoff game, I think is special," he concluded.

The Knicks won the first two games they had at the Madison Square Garden. After going 1-1 in the homecourt of the 76ers, they will play Game 5 in New York again.
