Magic's Jonathan Isaac expected to play Monday after missing two seasons

Orlando Magic forward Jonathan Isaac is expected to play in hisfirst game since August 2020 on Monday night versus the BostonCeltics, reports Shams Charania of TheAthletic.

After missing over two NBA seasons, OrlandoMagic forward Jonathan Isaac is expected to make his return andseason debut on Monday vs. Boston, source tells @TheAthletic@Stadium.

Isaac tore the ACL in his left knee in August 2020 but had asetback during rehabilitation as he injured his right hamstringthat required an additional surgery in March 2022. Earlier thismonth, he was able to work his way back to play with the LakelandMagic, the Magic's G League affiliate.

The 25-year-old has only played 136 games after being taken withthe 6th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. When has has played,the 6'10" forward has averaged 9.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.5blocks per game.
