According to information obtained by sportsport.ba, KSBiH is looking to sign a big name as a naturalized player. Two names are being considered - Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade's Kevin Punter and Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv's Wade Baldwin IV.

Minnesota Timberwolves big man Luka Garza played for Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time in his career last summer, but he did it as a naturalized player. With his mother being Bosnian, Garza is now set to receive the required paperwork to not count as a naturalized player, sporsport.ba note.

Additionally, the federation is working on finalizing the paperwork for Tarik Biberovic, who was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina but had Turkish citizenship.

The Bosnian national team has been led by a duo of Dzanan Musa and Jusuf Nurkic in recent years. They will compete in Group E of the EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers with Cyprus, France, and Croatia. The first games will be played on February 23rd, 2024.
