Panathinaikos AKTOR Athens filed two official protests after the loss against Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv in Game 3, arguing that after Mathias Lessort's block on Lorenzo Brown, the possession should have been given to Panathinaikos, and that Josh Nebo committed an out-of-bounds violation.

Panathinaikos argue that after Mathias Lessort's block on Lorenzo Brown with 13 seconds to go until the end of the game, the possession should have been given to Panathinaikos.

Instead, the referees gave a jump ball situation which was won by Josh Nebo. Eventually, Lorenzo Brown drew Jerian Grant's foul and sank both of them, winning the game for the Israeli powerhouse.

Furthermore, Panathinaikos also filed a protest on a no-call regarding an apparent out-of-bounds violation by Nebo, which took place 55 seconds until the end of the fourth quarter. Ergin Ataman's team argues that Nebo stepped out of bounds after collecting the offensive rebound.

Notwithstanding the protest, PAO are currently at risk of elimination, and Maccabi are up 2-1 after having captured homecourt advantage in Game 1.

The next game will be played in Pionir, Belgrade again. It is scheduled for May 2 at 20:45 CEST.
