Damian Lillard, Giannis Antetokounmpo named NBA's Players of the Week

Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard and Milwaukee Bucksforward Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA's Western andEastern Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for Week 16of the 2022-23 season (Jan. 30 to Feb. 5).

Lillard averaged 38.3 points, 6.8 assists and 4.5 rebounds pergame, while leading the Blazers to a 3-1 week (with wins over theMemphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks and Washington Wizards).

Antetokounmpo averaged a ridiculous 41.0 points, 17.3 reboundsand 5.7 assists, while leading the Bucks to a 3-0 week (with winsover the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers and CharlotteHornets).

The other nominees for the Player of the Week award were MikalBridges (PHX), Anthony Davis (LAL), Nikola Jokić (DEN), JamalMurray (DEN), Kawhi Leonard (LAC), Joel Embiid (PHI), MarkelleFultz (ORL), Darius Garland (CLE), Dejounte Murray (ATL) and CamThomas (BKN).
