One of the biggest reasons for the Timberwolves' success this season has been Anthony Edwards.

Minnesota's young superstar has been phenomenal, and teammate Mike Conley said Edwards reminds him of a "young Michael Jordan" during an interview with TNT.

“He’s unbelievable. I think more than anything with him, it’s his mentality. I’ve never met a guy or been teammates with a guy who believes more in himself than Anthony Edwards. I think he thinks he’s the best player ever to play the game, to walk on Earth, you can’t tell him any different," Conley said.

“He’s going to go out there, he has a mean streak to him, and what’s most impressive about him is the way he competes on the defensive end. Not a lot of guys have that ability to take over games on both sides of the floor. I’m just super excited to have him as my teammate and even learn from him just being around him.”

In the first round against the Suns, Edwards averaged 31.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists, and 2.0 steals. He also shot 51% from the field, 44% from the 3-point area, and 84% from the free throw line.

The Timberwolves will face the defending champions, the Denver Nuggets, in the West semis.
