Clippers' Paul George fined $35,000 for public criticism of NBA refs

Los Angeles Clippers forward PaulGeorge has been fined $35,000 for public criticism of theofficiating, it was announced today by Joe Dumars, Executive VicePresident, Head of Basketball Operations.

The fine amount is based in part onGeorge’s history of public criticism of the officiating.

"I thought we played great. It'stough, the adversity of playing against the extra three," Georgetold reporters following the Clippers’ 111-108 loss to the DenverNuggets on Nov. 14 at Ball Arena. "I thought they were awful."
