Panathinaikos guard Marius Grigonis doesn't believe that head coach Ergin Ataman would leave the team if they don't qualify for the EuroLeague Final Four.

It seems that the same could be said aboutErgin Ataman. After the Greens' Game 1 loss,Ataman claimed that he will leave Panathinaikosif he doesn't guide them to the EuroLeague Final Four.
"I promised all the people here that we would go to the Final Four. My promise is that 0-1 is not important. If we don't go to the Final Four, I will not be with Panathinaikos next year," Ataman said back then.
However, some people, includingMarius Grigonisbelieve the Turkish coach will remain in Athens regardless of the series outcome.

At one point in Game 4, there was a real possibility that the series might not return to Athens after all.
