Nuggets' Michael Malone to coach Team LeBron in 2023 NBA All-Star Game

Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone and his staff willcoach Team LeBron in the 2023 NBA All-Star Game, the NBA announcedtonight.

Malone earned the spot because the Nuggets have clinched thebest record in the Western Conference through games played on Feb.5.

This is the second All-Star head-coaching honor for Malone, whoalso guided Team LeBron back in 2019.

TNT will televise the 2023 NBA All-Star Game on Feb. 19 atVivint Arena in Salt Lake City.

The two captains, Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James,willdraft their teams right beforetip-off.

Denver is currently 35-16, and they have a three-game lead overthe second-seeded Memphis Grizzlies. The Nuggets have the bestoffense in the NBA, scoring 115.5 points per 100 possessions.
