Denver never really got into a rhythm as Minnesota blew the game wide open to eventually get the Game 2 win, even without Rudy Gobert.
Nuggets coach Mike Malone acknowledged how brutal it was, saying the Nuggets didn't have any answers for the Timberwolves at home.

Denver only shot 35% from the field and had 19 turnovers. The defending champs were also outscored in the paint, 34-52.
