Additionally, Shermadini suffered a collapsed lung, which required medical attention at a local hospital.
Shermadini spent just five minutes on the court in the last Spanish Liga Endesa (ACB) game against Rio Breogan on Sunday before exiting the match prematurely.
It's currently unclear whether this set of injuries will impact Shermadini's availability for the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Riga, Latvia, in early July.
Two weeks ago, the Georgian big man became BCL's all-time leading top scorer during the tournament's Final Four in Belgrade, Serbia, surpassing Vojtech Hruban at the top of the list.
Shermadini has been playing for Tenerife since 2019.
