According to Bob Kravitz, Doyel will be absent from any Fever games this summer but will continue his column work from home, watching games on TV.

Per the same report, he is slated to return to his column duties this upcoming Monday.

Since his last published piece, which centered on the Colts and was released on April 29, Doyel has remained silent despite the ongoing playoff series between the Indiana Pacers and the New York Knicks.

The Indiana Fever are scheduled to begin their 2024 regular season next week.
