"Believe it," Nunn told BasketNews after Giorgos Kyriakidis asked the player to confirm this news.
On Tuesday night, Nunn led Panathinaikos to the 2024 EuroLeague Final Four with 27 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 27 PIR.
Panathinaikos owner Dimitris Giannakopoulos revealed in an Instagram story the contract signed by Nunn and also thanked the fans for the overwhelming support throughout the season.
"The least I can do for what you've been doing all year is keep Nunn [on the team]. And that's only the beginning," he mentioned.
He has been a consistent offensive threat throughout his entire rookie EuroLeague season, averaging 15.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 11.7 PIR over 33 games (25 starts).
The 28-year-old American arrived in Greece on a one-year deal on October 31 last year.
His professional journey evolved in the NBA from 2019 to 2023, where he showcased his prowess by averaging 12.1 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.4 rebounds across 193 regular-season games with the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and Washington Wizards.
Nunn went undrafted in the 2018 NBA Draft.
