The MOU was signed on April 24 by Lithuanian national player and 1988 Seoul Olympics champion Valdas Chomicius and SBP executive director Erika Dy in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
“The SBP is fortunate to enter into such an agreement with the Lithuanian Basketball Federation as they are currently ranked 10th in men’s basketball. We can definitely learn a lot from them," said Dy.
In the MOU, Lithuania and the Philippines will collaborate in the “development of Philippines coach training (5×5 and 3×3), development of national team (training camp and friendly games), and development of Philippine youth basketball."
