Minnesota's star center missed Game 2 due to personal reasons after his first child was born. But the team hardly needed him in the blowout win.
Gobert praised his team for having his back and taking care of business in Game 2.
“Obviously, as a competitor, you always want to be there for those types of games. I told the guys that the only potential thing that could make me miss a game was the birth of my son and it happened. So, I really wanted to be there for that and to support my partner," Gobert said on TNT.
"They did the job. They did it in incredible fashion defensively and offensively. The love that they show me, despite the distance, it was something that I'll never forget."

The Timberwolves are hoping to take a commanding 3-0 lead as the series shifts to Minnesota for Game 3.
