Following a Game 4 win in Belgrade, Serbia, to tie the series score at 2 games each, Panathinaikos guard Marius Grigonis did a post-game interview with BasketNews. During the interview, the Lithuanian was asked about the chances of Ataman leaving PAO if they don't win the series.

Namely, after the Game 1 loss, Ataman claimed he would resign from Panathinaikos if they didn't advance to the Final Four. Grigonis said the chances were at zero. Now after winning the series, Ataman remembered the interview and addressed it before the entire PAO team in the locker room.

"After the first game, I saw an interview with Grigo after I said that if we don't make it to the Final Four, I will leave Panathinaikos. He said, 'Zero chance.' Of course, zero chance! We will win again!" Ataman shouted with a smile.

"OK guys, enjoy it, great job," Ataman later said. "Two more for the title!"
