"His body is not good at all -- not only for basketball, for anything. But when you play him, and you go to the basket, he is a wall. He's heavy. He's strong."
However, Djurovic highlighted that Jokic's true strength lies in his basketball IQ, describing it as "very quick, very smart."
Recalling his first encounter with Jokic in 2012, Djurovic reminisced about watching the then-17-year-old prodigy play for Mega Basket in the Adriatic League. Despite lacking athleticism, Jokic's intelligence and skill set stood out from the first glance.
"He was so abnormal," Djurovic recalled. "He was so smart. He played with everybody. He really passes. No quickness, no jumping, no power, and he played fantastic."
Jokic dominates in the NBA, averaging 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 9.0 assists in the regular season.
However, his dominant play is very much needed now, as the Nuggets face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday in Game 3 of their second-round series down 0-2.
