Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul achieved a remarkable feat by becoming the first-ever EuroLeague away team to secure victory in Game 5 of the playoffs. Their nail-biting overtime win against Monaco, with a final score of 80-79, left fans on the edge of their seats.

Head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius couldn't help but express his astonishment at the intensity of the series during the post-game conference.

"The series was absolutely crazy. Absolutely nuts, except for Game 4. Every game was until the last possession. Absolutely crazy," Saras said. "Usually, there are some teams that are winning by a couple of possessions, some games are decided with one minute to go, here it was just one game [like that].

"We were always leading the series -- 1-0 and 2-1 -- with big opportunities to seal the deal, but we didn't do it," the Lithuanian went on to say. "The players really understood that it would take this type of effort; we were not perfect today. In the fifth game on the road, the most important thing was to take it where it's nobody's game. You guys saw it, in the end, it could have won Monaco, it could have won Fenerbahce. The ball fell Fenerbahce's way, it is as simple as that."

Saras avoided massive water splashes by his players during the presser, but that was not the case in the post-game interview with EuroLeague TV, where he was left soaking wet.

"I feel amazing. ... The next step is how to land this plane in Istanbul," he said before being splattered with water by his players, mainly orchestrated by Nigel Hayes-Davis.

"How we are going to take that plane down, I have no idea," he then remarked after gathering himself.

Finally, he called out to the team's fans.

"Yellow Nation, get ready for Berlin."

Fenerbahce qualified for the EuroLeague Final Four for the first time since 2019.
