Turkish Basketball Federation and Turkish Basketball Super League teams agreed on new regulations for the competition.

To begin with the play-in, it will see those ranked 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th have a mini-tournament to decide which teams qualify for the playoffs in the 7th and 8th berths. It will be the exact same format as in the EuroLeague.
As for the foreign player rule, teams can now register 7 non-Turkish players to their rosters, an improvement from only 5.
On the court, at any given time, there can be at most 4 foreign players. At least 1 player has to be Turkish.
These rules will be applicable starting with the upcoming 2024-25 season.
