It was the Nuggets' worst postseason loss. The previous low mark was set way back in the 1984-85 season, when Denver lost to the Showtime Lakers by 44 points, 109-153.
The margin was three points shy of reaching the Nuggets' all-time worst loss. It was set in 1980 when the team lost by a whopping 48-point margin to the Milwaukee Bucks, 95-143.
At the same time, this was the biggest Timberwolves' postseason win in franchise history, and by a huge margin. The previous record was set in 2003 when Kevin Garnett led the team. The T'wolves won by 28 points against the Los Angeles Lakers, 119-91.
Similarly to Denver, it was also a couple of points shy of being the biggest franchise win ever. The Minnesota record was set in 2001 when the Timberwolves beat the Chicago Bulls, 127-74.
The Timberwolves captured 62 team rebounds during the game, which is now the new franchise's postseason record (previous record - 58 vs. Mavericks in 2002). The overall franchise rebound record was set just two seasons ago in 2022, when the Timberwolves recorded 67 rebounds against the Portland Trail Blazers on March 7th.
