The Knicks, who were missing several key players, couldn't get their offense going, only shooting 34% from the field the entire game. But Jalen Brunson didn't offer any excuses for the huge loss.
“Yeah, we’re short-handed but that doesn’t matter right now. We have what we have and we need to go forward with that. There is no ‘we’re short-handed.’ There’s no excuse. There’s no excuse whatsoever,” Brunson said.
Brunson's teammate, Josh Hart, also acknowledged that he should've brought more energy which could have prevented the game to slip away from them.

“As someone who brings energy, brings hustle, the kinda things I didn’t do today. It’s time to get better,” said Hart.
Head coach Tom Thibodeau was also disappointed with their performance and had little words to say about the Game 4 loss.
“Fell behind early. Didn't respond well. Gotta fix it,” Thibodeau said. The Knicks hope to bounce back strong in Game 5, which will be held in New York.
